Default 2011 F150 5.0 Lemon

Looking for some advice, my truck has been in the Ford Dealership shop for over a month and they have no idea what the problem is.. Getting to the point where I need to start complaining. What should I be asking for? I need a truck, this has messed up my whole summer.

It's only 4k miles past the warrantee, but still on the extended warrantee. The problem started almost a year ago but I didn't think it was a huge deal, and was too busy to get it into the shop. I paid almost a thousand dollars and 400 bucks on a rental car when it was in the shop for 3 weeks, they said it was fixed I drove it home and noticed it wasn't fixed, brought it back the next week. And it's been in the shop for over 2 weeks now, they still don't know what the problem is.

The Ford Customer service person has been impossible to get a hold of through this whole experience. She called me once and left a message she offered a rental car for 12 days, but I've been unable to get her on the phone.

I might be too easy going about this and not ready to name names yet, I'm in Colorado. What can I do about this? Is there anything I can do? Colorado lemon law says it has to be in the shop for 1 month. But it's 4k past warrantee. I was planing on buying the 2015..Now I don't even know if I want to stick with this company. Welcoming any advice.

The problem began before the Warrantee was up. But yes, I don't have a legal leg to stand on. I'm going to find out the hard way if Ford is the kind of company that stands by their product.

Send me your info in a PM, gtminnis; I'll see what I can do to help. In your message, please include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

Use the extended warrantee as leverage. Get the dealership to fix the truck knowing that you are immediately trading on a 14 with incentives.

Extended warranty should cover the rentals. It did with mine while my truck was still under the factory warranty.
