I'd do some quick checks / maintenance at least...air filter, clean the MAF and throttle body. Seriously doubt plugs are the issue with 60k for a 5.0.

Nope. Never figured it out. Kind of just got used to it and realized it's not a Shelby Mustang but rather a truck.

Get a Tuner , just not a superchips (only has canned tunes)....get an SCT with either 5 star or MPT tunes(custom tunes) and your problems will be solved ... Or get a Sprint booster .. it only changes the fly by wire throttle lag which is what your experiencing ... Mine was horrible when I got the truck , its better with a superchips tune but still not what Id like to see ... but way better than stock ....
