Default 2010 Ford F150 brake pedal issue

The brake pedal in the 2010 Ford F150 seems like it is angled up too high as compared to the gas pedal and doesnt allow for a smooth transition when you have to let off the gas and hit the brake. I dont have the adjustable pedals feature. Can I put a brake pedal from an earlier year F150 that has a more gradual angle?? Or does anybody have any ideas how I can remedy this problem??

This seems like a fix that Ford has used to correct a problem that they had on 2008 models. The brake pedal was too close to the gas pedal and if your foot is slightly off to the right, you can depress the gas pedal while braking. Especially during a panic stop.Very dangerous if towing a trailer or boat. I have contacted Ford about this problem with my 2008 F-150 and keep getting the run-a-round. Its now registered letter and C.Y.A. time.................Leave yours like it is.
