Hate to ask....

Anyway you can get the Part Number for the F250 one?
I'm in Afgh and despite being able to get to this site... the web is pretty well blocking any site that I have tried to look it up.

Would like to try and order one while here so it is at the house when I get home.

no need on a 2012.
if you pop the air filter out and reach your hand down into the hole, the snorkel is big enough to pretty much fit your whole hand through. the 2012 snorkel is bigger in diameter than the F250 one referenced in this thread.

Good note MPETE.
The one I ordered for my 2010 5.4 L (seems the same part no. I recall) was just large enough to put my hand in. if not required on the 2012... good news!

Its great that we can uncover some parts that will change over. On another forum a guy figured out a way to delete your factory resonator on the 2011/12 f150's using the front exhaust pipe from the 2009/10 models. Those models didn't have resonators but share the same size front straight pipe. You just have to know your correct wheel base to get the correct length. I have one on the way to complete and keep as much of my factory stainless exhaust. If you don't like the resonator out you can switch back to it. Prices are from about 68.00 online tasca to about 110.00. I currently have a Borla stinger installed, just want more tone, but does sound great.

I'm coming up with a different part number for the inlet released in Ford's system. 7C34-9F765-A

Probably the same part though. Sometimes Ford changes numbers for the replacement parts.

Still cant find the paperwork on that part! normally keep all that stuff!
I'm Pretty sure MPETE is right on the part no. and it seems even in our Canadian Capital City, Ottawa, ( famous as a parts ghost town), it was an overnight ship from the Ford truck plant in Oshawa to my local Ford "stealer-ship".
You wont have to wait long in good old NC, USA for a part like that.
Still logging good milage, seems to have improved punch off the line and the sound is great!

Stay safe over there. F-Oneswifty
