Hey guys, okay have a new 09 F150, it seems to idle a bit rough.. have taken to dealer and they say nothing is wrong. It just feels a bit rough and only has 15k miles on it.. wanna make sure its not a problem.

Is this normal? I had a 98 town car with the 4.6 and it never idled rough.. also an 01 Mustang GT with 4.6 and same nice smooth idle....

Any ideas? Probably going to take it to another dealer this week to make sure...

Dealer says this is normal for the newer 4.6's and the 5.4's.. hmmm

put some synthetic in there next oil change see if it helps

well actually time for its second oil change and it was going to put in full synthetic (did the blend last time).

Both my T-Bird and one of my SCab's have a 4.6 in them. Neither has run rough except each has had a plug wire go bad in them. Then they ran rough till it was fixed, otherwise smooth as silk. Try another dealer or a shop with someone that knows what they're doing.
