Default 2008 tranny help

my 2008 f-150 4x4 5.4 xlt with 140,000 highway miles, tranny blew, brought to dealer, dealer wanted $3800.00 to replace, said no way, towed it to AAmco down the street, i known the manager for yrs, there price was $2600., with new torque converter too. Aamco got a new tranny from Ford, drove it around 300 miles & it blew again. Towed back to Aamco, put 2nd tranny in from Ford, drove less than a 100 mls. & it blew again. I shut truck off, then restart it, it drives in gear 200-300 ft.,then nothing, turn truck off, start it again, drives the same distance, then nothing. WHY??? Having it towed back now to Aamco again. What could be causing this??? thanks john

Why are you taking it back to AAMCO if its a Ford reman transmission, should have a Ford warranty that any dealer should be able to Honor.
