Saw this one up close at the dealer site I posted above, looks sick, a bit pricey though.

57K??? I'll take the extra money and make my truck mine, and still be under 57K!

That's just a custom feature that is offered in that area.

In my area they lift trucks, paint them, put flares on it, and exhaust and its called a Southern Comfort package.

There are all different packages that dealers come up with.

southern comfort is a company that does conversions, its not a package.

Morning folks,

I was having a look at the site where I got my own truck and they still have the F-150 Limited there. They also have a Harley Davidson edition as well. $52K and $57K, in that order.

But these are Canadian prices. We always tend to pay more for the same vehicles that you folks get to purchase in the States.

There is quite a few commercials on TV where Dodge and GM are dropping their prices to be competative with the US pricing. So far, Ford hasn't followed suit. Also, our dollar is dropping again.

I drove the F-150 Limited, but it just wasn't "truckie" enough for me. Sure, it was a nice truck and what not. Just it was too fancy schmancy. It is more of a show boat, than truck. 22" chrome alloy wheels, with low profile tires. Yes, I really need that to take the garbage to the dump. I am sure that I would have the prettiest truck there.

I think that I will keep my truck for a little bit longer, as is...

They are definitely going to rip off the guy who walks in and pays $57 for that truck. Couldn't really see the cross member in the front, but my guess is it has the Pro Comp stage 1 lift on it. They simply took a stock FX4, sent it out to an offroad performance shop and had them put their lowest offroad package on that truck. Call it some special package and pass that cost and an additional $10-$15k to the customer.

That's what got me about when I was going to trade my truck in, the guy said I actually decreased the value of it by lifting it. Yet they were going to stick it on their lot and sell it for a lot more because of the lift and all the other mods. You can buy an FX4 and mod it yourself and still save over $10k over the cost of that truck.
