Default 2007 F150 Transmission Shifting

I have a 2007 FX2 F150 with 80,000 miles and it is shifts hard from overdrive to 3rd gear when excellerating at speeds of 50 or below. We have tried running with overdrive off and it seems to run fine. Has anyone else experienced this problem and what did you do to fix it. HELLO!!! anybody out there???

Default transmission

When driving on level highway truck runs perfect but when starts up a grade and commences to accelerate it acts like a misfire. Doesn't happen all the time but aggravating. 2007 4 by 4 with a 5.4

Have you had a response? I have the very same problem with a 2007, V8, 2WD with 61,000 miles. Problem just started less than 1,000 miles ago.

Last year it happened when wet weather and had to change fuel pump module over spare tire. Rusted out. (approx 200.00).. Then this problem developed. Took it to the Ford dealership and they said probably plug problem and quoted me a price of between 500.00 and 800.00 depending on how many plugs they broke while changing them. (problem with 5.4). Also could be a plug coil that is with each plug (86.00) each. The engine service light does not come on which hinders the analyzing. I corrrected the problem by getting rid of it. Nice truck. Lariat model with all the bells and whistles but too aggrivating with all the problems.

i have a '08 KR (66000 mi) that shifts, up and down, sometimes fairly hard and can even be somewhat inadvertant at times. dealer as always says they cant find anything and no codes show up. i live in the mtns so shifting could become a issue. dont know if this is electronic or what. anyone had any thing like this? its a beautiful truck but this is getting ridiculous.
