2007 f150 A/C problems continue
I have posted about this in late April. My 2007 f150 on a 95 degree day will not blow colder than 50 degrees out of the vents. I have had it to several dealers and they all say the A/C is fine but I know it is not. It does not get cold like my previous Fords. Ford will nothelp since they just take the word of the dealer's service dep't. I am very frustrated and no one will help me or believe me when I tell them there is a problem. My wife's Sable blows 38-40 degree air right now. Has anyone else had A/C problems with their f150? I feel totally helpless. Paying big bucks for a POS truck with no A/C. Any ideas to help me on where to go next?:cens ored::cens ored:

Its tough when you can't get your opinion accross. Suggest doing a little investigation around the blend door. Perhaps its not going full travel. Now what is the blend door? Get down on the floor, under the panel and look at what ever moves when the temp selector is cycled. It might take a helper to move the control as you search. If the techs are putting on the gauges and pressures are normal, naturally its good to go. Rag it and flag it. Good luck!

I am having similar issues with my '07 F150. It never blows colder that 50 deg. if it cools at all. I had issues with it when the truck was new and had to have the compressor clutch replaced at just over 6000 miles. I have a suspicion that the pressure sensor is causing the compressor the short cycle. I cannot get my local dealer to help either. They keep telling me it checks out. I am tired of paying the $69 A/C check fee, as my truck has 125k and is out of warranty. Please let me know what you find out.

i have an 07 and my ac is nice and cold, however it's not even close to how good my 99 ranger's ac was, that was like stepping into the tundra...for what it's worth, my father in law's truck, 04 scab---just as cold as mine, buddy's 07 crew, same as mine---if they says it's good and it all checks out, what do you want them to do, they just follow a trouble shooting guide...

How Your Gas?
The system might be low on refrigerant; the compressor can't pump up the pressure high enough to liquify the refrigerant at the elevated temps. The condition usually causes the compressor clutch to short cycle. Of course your service representative would or should know that.
I do all my own maintenance on the AC systems, so I have a manifold guage set and a vacuum pump. My LTC was blowing warmer-than-normal air from the registers and it turned out to be low on refrigerant.

I just bought a 2007 super crew F150 when driving down free way with AC on doing 70 mph the engine boggs down every time the compressor cycles.Just enough to notice not like the engine going to die I'm going to take back to dealer, would low freon cause compressor to bogg down engine?

Ford F150 AC problems
When I purchsed my F150 super crew in 2010, the AC was fine. Now, in the past two weeks, the AC doesn't blow on levels one or two until I start driving. As my speed increases the AC blows harder. When I am idle or stopped, the ac blows normally on levels 3 and 4.. has anyone else had this problem? If so, what is the problem and approximately how much is it gonna cost me to fix?
