Hey Guys,

I just got a 2006 F150 XLT Supercab and I wanted to install new speakers in it. In my '95 F150 they were cake, but I was wondering how to get the ones installed in the suicide doors. The front doors are pretty easy, the speaker grill just pops off, but the rear ones don't. I need to know:

1) How do you get the panels off the suicide doors to get to the speakers?
2) What will I need to hook up the new speakers? Is there a special plug that I'm going to need to cut and splice the aftermarket wires to?

I am going to change the speakers in my 2007 shortly--Here is some info I found-- http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/10...l-removal.html Not sure if its the same but it should be a good start. Good luck

That is a good start, thanks. I knew you had to take the whole panel off but I didn't think it was going to be that big of a PITA.

Its actually really easy. I have the instructions from Crutchfield.

I think everything is a 6mm bolt, speakers are a 7mm. Took maybe 5mins on each door being careful.
