Sony Sound System/MP3 Question
I have a 2011 w/Sony NAV and am trying to figure out the best way to listen to my music with out interrupting the Bluetooth connection with my iPhone 4. The best way I have found so far is to hook up the phone to the USB port, however, we have some friends that have an '06 or '07 Edge and they just plug in a flash drive with their music and play it from there I tried this last night, but couldn't figure it out on mine. Mybe it's not possible on the 2011s. Any ideas? Thanks.

Rooster-
My '11 FX4 has been acting weird with the thumb drive/usb jack music playback too. At first I thought the drive needed to be there before the system powered up or it wouldn't "see" it. But then it seemed like it would only see it on the second attempt to play music off it. And now it won't see it all. Just reformatted the drive, we'll see if that helps. When it does work it is slick, brings through the titles and artists on the podcasts and music just fine...

I tried a thumb drive the day after I got my truck and I couldn't get it to work. Yesterday I tried dragging a few song onto a different drive but not placing them in folders like my music is on the other drive. That time it worked. Maybe the music can't be in folders. I'll play with it to day and see what happens. Neither drive had been formatted to fat32 (or at least I didn't intentionally try to do that with either one). I might need to take on this project sometime:

This is pretty slick.
Thanks.
