Default 2005 F150 Air Conditioner/Heater problem

I have a 2005 F150 that has the following issue. It sometimes will be on A/C only and then heat only. Whether on heat or a/c the compressor is always working and now the only vent working is the defrost vents on door and at windshield. You can get heat on occasions but a/c compressor is on. You can not turn off a/c compressor by pushing a/c button. Very erratic operation. I have researched and read about blend door but this does not seem to fit. Any thoughts and ideas on how to fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

A/C will cycle when heat is selected.. this keeps the system lubed up .. sounds like a blend door issue you have.

Thanks Mark, I think your right its a blend door issue. I can find blend door actuators locally but no luck with the blend door itself. Does anyone have the parts numbers for the actuator and blend door for the 05 f150 and where to get the items? Thanks

You should access it first and inspect it.. sometimes the door foam comes detached and blocks operation of the door

I got the actuator off and it will not work. Blend door seems fine. Tried to get actuator to work by working controls but it never moved.
