1999 f150 rear brakes lock up
hello i have a 1999 f 150 and the rear brakes lock up at the end of a stop . is the proportioning valve in the abs actuator

Welcome to the board.
Did this problem just come about recently? Like after installing new rear brake shoes? Maybe the rear brakes or the parking brake needs to be adjusted. We have some excellent mechanics here and one of them should be able to give you some good suggestions.

okay it just started happening about two days ago just driving along. pedal feels alittle soft but no leaks or air in the sytem. I've had it on a lift and all wheel are stopping and no axle seals are leaking. it feels like the front and rear proportioning is off. when stopping it feels like the truck is being stopped by the rear brake. so any help would great
