Swap Harley tail lights to FX4
Hi,
I think I know the answer but I want to make sure with all the guys in this forum. I just purchased a 2011 FX4 all black but I do not care for the shiny tail lights that are standard on the vehicle. I want to know if I can swap out 2011 Harley Davidson tail lights,and install them on my 2011 FX4. I am a Ford employee so I can get a very good discount on Harley tail lights at the dealership.

I just seen these Harley tail lights on e-bay ,they are OEM Ford Motor Co. parts. Check them out at website listed below,let me know what you think.

To go a step further, I found this picture in another thread. The lights on the left in this picture came on the 09-10 FX4, the ones on the right are the Harley taillights and now come standard on the 2011 FX4.

I thought the 2011 FX4s came standard with the Blacked out lights as well, but he is saying his 2011 FX4 did not. Maybe swaped at the dealership?
Norby, are you in possession of the truck yet? Or is this question just a pre-emptive one thinking you may get the shiny silver tails?
Regardless.... they are interchangeable.

No I'm not in possession of the truck yet,my dealer call me yesterday and two FX4's all black just came in so I'm going down tomorrow to purchase one. I should have it on Tuesday if all goes well. I just assumed that they came with the shiny tail lights,in the 2011 F-150 brochure they look like the shiny ones. I did some more research on the internet today and they are the Harley tail lights on the 2011 FX4's. Sorry guys I should have worded my first post better,I'm just excited about getting a new truck. Thank you all for your help.
