How in tarnation do you turn off these headlights?
So perhaps I'm having a lapse in common knowledge but..... I can't figure out how to turn off the headlights on my new truck....?
I have an 08 Supercrew 4x4 with the 4.6L. I have attached a photo of my headlight switch. No matter which of the settings I put it on there is always some kind of light on. I want to be able to turn everything off and I'm sure I'm just missing some simple thing here that will allow me to do so.
Please help this fool out!
Thanks

I should mention that everything works as it should other than I cant turn everything off while the truck is running. They turn off when turn the truck off and everything. All of the other lights are working on my truck.

Thanks to another post on the forum I found out that its the daytime running lights. They come standard issue in Canada (where my truck came from).
Here is a link to the post that somewhat describes how to disable them.

you should be able to press your parking break in just one notch, this shouldn't be enough to hake the pads physically touch the disc, but it should be enough to activate the ground switch on the park brake peddle causing your DRL to shut off.
