Default 1990 I6 5spd : running terrible when wet / damp

Posted in drive train also, any advice or similar exp please help me out!

So I have an idea as to my issue, but wanted to get some opinions. My 90 300 6 5spd usually purs like a kitten, not sure on the miles, I bought truck 2nd hand and I've seen the odometer rollover once, showing 71k now. The issue I'm having is, anytime it rains, the truck will start fine, but when I go to drive, if I give her more then about 25% on the gas pedal, its wants to fall on its face and die, problem has gotten worse since I moved to Florida. It will spit sputter stumble, backfire, then after about 5 - 10 min it'll clear up and drive normal....moisture in the cap? Plugs & Wires? Any info would really help. Thanks in advance

Moisture under cap, cracked cap, bad plug wires any or all. Treat yourself to new cap, rotor, wire set and add a new set of plugs. Most likely your kitten will be back.

Thanks for the feedback, I figured its all spark / moisture related, just wanted to hear someone else with the same opinion before I dove in. Much appreciated
