Rob28 is right.......I opened up a can of worms and the worms are posting their opinions rather than answer my posted question. If you have nothing to be helpful with then shut the hell up and go play in your sand box. I don't care what you "think" about how I drive and have been driving with a perfect, zero accident free record for 42 years now. Your comparison to a murderer and driving down a traffic free piece of northern highway is so lame........you must be 12 years old and only post trash talk to see your name. Post back..........I won't be reading it

Always taking a chance on non speed rated tires and they get hot pretty quick. The older the tire the more likely you experience a failure. I dont see you running over 100mph for more than a few seconds. I sure as hell don't, I've buried it and then back off. It's one thing to get to the speed but these are trucks and not designed to sustain that speed in the factory state. Now the CTS-V on the other hand.... #DREAMCAR lol. Don't sweat it OP. I am sure the nay- sayers have dropped a few posts about how "Awesome" their F150 is, how powerful their eco-boost is, blah blah blah. Last I checked this was an enthusiasts forum.

Who would figure posting a comment about how fast your truck can go would cause such debate. I'm sure a lot of people have drove a vehicle at a high rate of speed just for the thrill of it, or to see what it can do. The originator of this post did not say he want to drive like that all the time. I have drove numerous of vehicles at a high rate of speed just to test them out to see what they could do. I'm sure he or anyone else is not driving 100+ MPH on roads with traffic, rush hour, etc. I have drove over 90 MPH lots of times at night out across TX, WY, MT, KS, and ND traveling coast to coast with others.

I've buried the needle in every vehicle I've ever owned at least a few times and so has every person I've ever known except maybe a few girls. 1972 Chevy monte Carlo did 130, 1988 Chevy Cavalier z24 went 116, rest have been close to 100 limited. I bet the f150 would do 130 pretty easy if you removed the limiter, lots of power left when you hit it. No matter what you post on the Internet some bitch will always bitch about it, lol!

I have seen 115mph in mine. I didn't want to see how fast I could go, I have motorcycles for that, I just wanted to see how small I could make that MPG number.

For those worried about my careless driving outside of the confines of a race track, I was driving between Lusk, WY and Hot Springs, SD. Not many lives at risk out there other than a few Prong Horns.

For all those who I have thanked.........I have checked my speed rating on my tires and it is an "S" rating for 112 mph. OK.........that said........my truck topped out at 93 mph. (still safe) ...........my original post was mostly to say that I was disappointed at the trucks top end speed.

130 MPH in a stock EB rev limit removed? Sorry, but I just don't see that happening.

Shoot, I figure my 5.4l will do 130, no comment on the eco though.

The eco has a better chance. I have an older 5.4, but there's just no way. LOL
