'15 f150 2.7 ecoboost - 3K miles
G'Day F-150 folk,
So, I've had my truck about 2.5 months. I've just done my first service at 3K miles. My fuel mileage has been OK. Not great. I'm just commuting to work, ~20 miles, 55-60mph no stops. Easy backcountry road.
I've made a few longish trips over the holidays, and one trip back fighting a massive headwind for 4 hours. I'm averaging 23.1, with a best 24.3. I'm OK with that.
The on-board computer is quite optimistic. It says I'm well into the 26 mpg range. It doesn't quite get the fuel usage right. That's why its computation is off. Perhaps it'll get better...I don't really care all that much.
I just added a bedrug...my roll-n-lock tonneau will be here this week. Not looking for an economy boost, I just need to protect the contents in the bed.
At any rate, thought y'all would like to hear what another F-150 is doing in the real world.
Cheers..

Mine was around 19 (all 3-5 mile trips, lots of stop lights, traffic), but dropped to around 17.5 when "winter" came and I started using the remote start. Still love the 2.7, though.
