Look a this, a 12 volt electric blanket It would be neat to have a couple of these stashed in the truck. talk about a cheap way of getting a electrically heated seat, or keeping a child warm on a cold day.

What is the wattage/current draw? I've seen a ton of those in overstock outlet catalogs and figured they weren't selling very well.

canadian tire here in wpg had them on sale last week.the manager who is a friend of mine since grade 3 said he gets more of these blankets returned.they dont seem to work very good.the only reason i was looking at one was because of my wifes 2005 montana van.no heat at all been to 4 gm dealers and the last one told me that since manitoba and saskatchewan only make up 2% of the gm van market they wont fix the heat problem. i guess man/sask dont count in gm.s eyes.but we were told to put a saskatchewan winter front on the van[ a peace of cardboard in front of the rad] it didnt help as if i thought it would.
