Wow y'all, great information. This is what I'm talking about on discussion. As for power steering I wouldn't immediately say in fact that a standard power steering can not handle 40s as I currently have a stock PS and run 40x15.50R22, and it's been on there for almost two years. But I could see some issues on it after say 5years. Plus add in abuse lol.
That is cool about the competitions being won with some IFS stuff!
Someone is going to google this and get a lot of info from here, which is great!

Only thing I don't care for on some of the huge ifs lifts is when they use a 15" spacer on top of the stock strut. That just looks cheap to me. Spend the $ and have some coilovers made.

You mean like mine :P not really cheap btw, just good to maintain you CV axle till the next move which is full coil over, however cost about $4k for setup. Go check 3rd coast custom there drop down coil spacers are massive still and can withstand crazy abuse.

I live down the road from BnC, I have seen them. I'm not saying the drop downs are weak it's just cheap IMO. You can have the 2 coilovers built for the front for under $2000.

Thanks for info, I'll call tomorrow. Addiction offroad here in San Antonio is gonna do a custom brackets for the coil over system which is; I think what's running up the price but will see tomorrow. Although I suspect that 9" lift versus a 16" could be a big reason why I got quoted that much.

Ok, I am gonna call them just to get it from them on exact price, but thanks for heads up on it. Really haven't messed with coil overs in a long time so spinning back on lengths, preload ranges etc. knowledge so if anything I will learn more on them talking with them. Thanks!
