Hello everyone, That little piece of black plastic that sits at the base of the antenna flew off at the car wash. I bought a new one from the Ford dealer, but it doesn't just" snap" on. Has anyone ever done this? and what's the trick? Thanks, smashbossx.

Push harder it does snap on. Make sure the base is not bent. There should be a light ridge around the cap that slides over a lip on the base.

On the same note..has anyone found this piece in CHROME.I see them listed on e-bay but the listing says..from 1997-2004 Heritage body style .
Has anyone seen them for the newer body style???
