Default Trying to sell my F-250

I'm trying to sell my F-250 in order to buy a 2010 F-150. No one seems to want this truck. I'm the original owner, its never been in a wreck, it has every available option (except sunroof), and it only has 35,000 miles. 2000 F-250 Crew Cab, 4X4, V-10. Got a Stockland shell with a bed rug to match. Max towing package.

Now if I only knew how to post a picture. Stand by. I'll work on it!

why aint this working?

I have it advertised at $17375. It also comes with a cover, and two sets of floor mats. Oh, there's a rubber mat for the bed too, though it is fully covered in back by the bedrug. Newish tires, brakes, and a new driver's side rear view mirror to replace one some bad guy broke. I only used it for towing our camping trailer or to go to Tahoe snow. I am sad to say it has never done real truck stuff, like going to the dump or hauling dirt or tools. I did take it to home depot a few times so it could hang out with the other trucks there.

That is very low mileage for that year truck!

What about trading it in?

I traded my 2004 F250 XLT SB 4X4 V10 Screw with 65K miles, at Folsom Lake Ford and got an even $16,000 on June 1st. It was in 'good' condition, not excellent.

They gave me exactly what Kelly BB quoted for my truck (Trade-In) on May 30th, when they ran the deal.

I will tell you, driving this new F150, is like night and day from my previous truck, both in ride and handling and at the gas pump !!

you should be able to get what you are asking for if you trade it in. Take a KBB print out with you to aide in your negotiations.

Nonetheless, GL with the sale.

I haven't been able to print out a KBB price yet. One dealer gave a real low price for trade and the other only gave a grand more. I am buying the new truck on the A plan, so they don't want to do much for me, claiming they don't make anything on the sale.

The other problem is I always get a real emotional attachment to my vehicles, and I really like this truck. I can't just let it go to just anybody. I have to know it will be looked after.

HAHA... i hear you 100% - I feel like such a jackass when I'm driving around with nothing in my truck - luckily I do get a chance to fill it up and work her on many days

Under what conditions? Uphill? Downhill? Tailwind? Towing? With the wife in the truck?
