Trading in 2013 FX4 ECO-2016 FX4 Superduty Diesel??

I would stick with the 3.55 over 4.30 only because of fuel consumption. Only reason I can see going to 4.30 is if you do heavy hauling every day. The 4.10 I had in my F350 7.3 dually sucked fuel, when I dropped down to 3.73 I gained 2 MPG.

I don't ride in the back of the cab so the short answer is no. Beyond that the difference isn't massive between them. Again, my passengers who do sometimes ride with me couldn't even tell the difference. There is still plenty of room in the outgoing Super Duty cabs. The storage space is better in fact. The space behind the rear seat is more usable and the locking storage bins are really nice. I had an aftermarket Husky box under there that worked ok, but the one built into the Super Duty locks and has just as much, if not more space.

I traded a few times. 11 eco for 15 F250 6.2. had that 3 months and traded for a 14 eco. then traded wifes 14 explorer for 11 KR 6.7. So now have the 14 F150 FX4 eco and 11 F350 KR 6.7 Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Both have gooseneck hitches, both pull my boat. I like driving the eco better as it rides better and is quieter in the cab and gets better mileage (got 17 this weekend) empty truck. Now pulling is a different story!!! The KR pulls great but rides rougher and is harder to park in all these little car parking spots!!

I am very tempted to trade my 2015 F-150 for an F-250 diesel now that I have a larger enclosed trailer. My son lives in Colorado so I go up there a few times a year and would like to tow my race car up there to run at local tracks.
The '16 F-250s have decent discounts right now so I am tempted to pull the trigger. What are the recommendations for 'breaking in' a diesel engine? I usually drive my my vehicles making some hard acceleration runs over the first 100 miles or so to seat the rings.
BTW, right now dealers are discounting the Lariat F-250 diesels about 12K so I may continue shopping after reading another thread where some have seen discounts as much as 16k.

You might have read my posts where I mentioned discounts that high. These discounts come mostly from the dealer. About 6k of it is in Ford rebates. The rest are dealer discounts which are often state wide, or for a given region of dealerships. Just shop around in your area and see what's being offered.
