Default Tail Light removal

Do the tail lights on the 2016 F250 get removed by pulling them straight back towards the rear of the truck or do you have to pull them out from the side?

I just pulled mine out yesterday. 2016 Super duty.
Remove the two bolts, then pull them kinda towards the box side. There are two clips that also hold them in. They clips make it act like a hinge...Just keep pulling, it'll come with just little effort.

So if I understand your post I need to remove my driver side tail light.. I need to pull on it in that direction towards the bed of the truck?

Remove 2 bolts. Then try to pull more or less straight back. I had to pull hard to release the clips, but it did come out. Pull slow but firmly.

Might check YouTube for a video.

I've read pretty good reviews about them. So we shall see how it holds up
