I haven't seen one, although the ford.com site shows it as a 2009 option. Can't see a high demand for the 3/4 ton capacity with a short-bed. If one needs a 3/4 ton truck, then the short bed is only for show.

Suggest a beefed up 1/2 ton with a little common sense will more than do the job. Really disappointed that Ford dropped the 4.10 axle as a 1/2 ton option.

If one has to special-order - best get the checkbook ready for an ****-reaming.

ordering a truck costs no more than buying one off the lot. My friend ordered a new as in 2009 MY Mustang with only the options she wanted and got it for less than what the dealership had in stock.

i have seen quite a short bed regular cab 3/4 tons, as most of them are fleet government vehicles or owned by construction companies.

obusnizzle,

A Ford product, thats a 3/4 ton "Short Bed" regular cab?
I have not see one, atleast from the mid-90's or newer. I also just logged onto Build a Ford truck, and could not find that chassis configuration.

Eagle,
I too would be a big fan of the Regular Cab, Short box, V-10!

I hope I'm wrong. It'd be cool.

Yeah I also looked for one before I bought my 1/2 ton, I dont need a back seat or the super long bed, because my parking space up here is way to small, and the back end would be sticking out into the road, and then guaranteed someone would hit the back end of the truck.

The 1/2 ton has done me good so far, no problems with power at all, even though I only have a 4.6L instead of the 5.4.

I can find a standard cab, long bed, but no short beds. Guess if you wanted to you could always take the bed off and turn it into a short flat bed truck, that would be awesome.

I wouldn't want a V10 one, if I wanted a V10 truck, I'd go with DOdge, naaaaah, Ford
but still, I'd want the 7.3 Turbo DIesel

no 3/4 ton has ever been produced with that option. i have seen a few custom short bed jobs in some diesel race trucks. most fleet trucks are single cab long beds, my truck once was a fleet truck, and it too is a white singe cab long bed. if you want a 3/4 ton to look good, get an extended (whatever ford calls it) cab short bed.

The reg cab short bed was never a production truck in 3/4 ton or 1 ton trucks. Doesnt mean it hasnt been done though...

This is an 05. Being an 05 it has the 6.0 in it, not the famed 7.3, but is still one bad@$s looking and running truck. He says his best time is 13.5 @ 99 mph on street tires.
