Default Running board LEDs?

I posted this in one of the other forums on here but just realized it should be here since it is a super duty truck..

Anyone install LEDs marker lights on their "pinch weld" of their truck?
I'm liking what I see in the pics. I wish these were setup for blinkers as well, but it looks like he has them set up strictly for running lights.

If I were to do this I would probably install about four more of these lights on each side and set them up to where every other light is a running light as well as every other light being a blinker.
Measure in my truck I would need to put 13 of these lights on each side. Each light is 3 inches in length and I would have a 3 inch gap between each light.

Do you think this will look too busy?

I think it looks a little like, "l'm a semi truck!". But I don't think it looks bad. It's cheap and pretty easy to do as well. I think big silly vertical stacks through the bed really look a lot worse.

If it were me, I would do it like the black super crew pictured. I would want them as thin as possible of a light fixture and definitely even spacing between them.

Nice! I like how you put them on the running boards. You have a link to the lights?

Do you happen to have a link or name of the led light strips you used for your trucks running boards? Hard to find led strips that have the diodes spaced right next to each other.

Hey...looks fine to me. Its your baby. You do what you feel is right for you. All of these trucks need some lighting. This is what I did just recently
