Default No more F-150

After 18 years and four different F-150's, I said bye to the F-150. I purchased a 2012 F-250 Power Stroke with 55,000 miles on it. Still a Ford truck man for life! The reason for the switch is due to our 8,000 pound 34' camper. The Ecoboost pulled the camper well, but I'm sure it was overloaded. Towing with the F-150 was stressful at times. Too much trailer, not enough truck. I will soon experience why most of the trucks I see at campgrounds are diesel 3/4 or 1 ton trucks.

that's what I did but it only took me 8 months to figure out I was not going to be able to pull the 5th wheel I wanted:-)

I can't believe how often I see an F-150 towing a fifth wheel. I would never attempt that. Just towed my camper for the first time today with my F-250. All I have to say is WOW! Should've traded for the F-250 when we got our larger TT a couple years ago.

Been there done that. I wish I would have gone straight to SuperDuty in the first place. Now I'm shopping for a bigger trailer
