New Super Duty
Well, I traded my 2015 F-150 in for a 2016 Super Duty. I've wanted one for a long time and the incentives were just too good to pass up. Additionally, my needs have changed and I will have to start towing more often and towing heavier loads. It seemed like the right time to make the jump. The 2017's look sweet and all but I'm not going to buy the first year of a total redesign. Not to mention the prices are going to be higher on the new ones and there won't be any significant incentives on them for awhile. Since the order banks are closed for 2016's, I made the jump now in part because there were a lot of trucks to choose from on the lots. Several months from now I may not be able to get exactly what I want.
Specs:
2016 F-250 Super Duty
6.7L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel
Lariat Ultimate Package
Crew Cab, Short Box
FX4 package
3.55 gears w/Electronic locking rear
20" wheels w/Toyo ATII's (LT275/65R20E)
10,000GVWR package
Magnetic Gray
I didn't go with the Platinum because I hate the tailgate billboard and the added cost. I got everything on this truck anyway aside from the massaging seats.

Congrats! I traded in my 13 F150 last month for a gasser 16 Super Duty. Best decision ever. Towing my 7300lb trailer is much smoother now.
And you're correct about the rebates they were offering. I saved approximately $11k off sticker. Msrp was $49800, paid $38900..

Congrats! That is the exact truck down to the color and packages that I want, but with buying a new house and a relocate within the next 3 months has put me on hold. Enjoy that monster diesel!

I test drove the same truck but Tri white color. Might I ask what you paid for it? The guy I deal with is telling me a wait a couple more months to get the best deal.
I have a 2011 5.0L FX4 now. But it's a little to light for my TT.

My thing is, I had plenty of trucks to choose from on the lots when I bought this one. If you wait too long you might not be able to find the truck you want if you are as picky as I am. This truck has almost every single option you can possibly get on an F-250 in this configuration with the exception of the things that are locked to the Platinum and King Ranch trim levels. None of what those trucks had were things I was interested in. Essentially I "missed" out on the Platinum tailgate billboard and the massaging seats. The King Ranch has painted bumpers which I do like, but it has emblems I hate, wheels I hate, and the interior color I can't stand either. If I wait six months there might only be XL's on the lots in work truck white. Or I might have to live with the truck optioned exactly right but in a color I can't stand. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time so it was important for me to get the right one.
