Default New 2016 F-250

I went up the road to Austin and got a much better deal on a new truck than what I could find here in San Antonio and elsewhere. I picked up a new 2016 F-250 6.7 PS with the Lariat Ultimate package. I have owned five new F-150s over the past 18 years or so. This is the first SD I have bought but I needed a stronger truck for the new trailer I have.

BTW, salesman parked it at their front door blocking the handicap spot, not me!
This dealership is so busy they have outgrown their lot so they plan to build a parking garage in the near future.

Good looking rig! I don't think I've seen those tires on a new one before.

Great looking truck. Did you get the big deal below msrp that you were looking for?

Just curious, how much can you tow? Nice truck as well.

I am not familiar with the tires, but they are Toyo T/A Open Country.

I did trade in a 2015 F-150 2WD V8 XLT w/20k miles and they gave me the best trade-in value of any dealer I spoke to then they subtracted all but $500 of the hold-back from dealer invoice plus rebates. So the difference came out to $25114.00, plus TTL. MSRP on the F-250 was $65,620. So its looks like I got a pretty good deal.

The GVWR is 10K pounds, and the GCWR is 23,500 lbs for the 6.7 diesel with either the 3.31 or 3.55 gear set. Mine came with the 3.55 locking diff.

The first time you hook up the trailer you're going to think " I should have got one of these a long time ago " !

I second that. Finally realized why diesel is better for pulling.

This is my '11 (350) with "only" 400hp/800ft-lb. The trailer has a typical road weight of just under 14,000 lbs. I can pull 6% grades at 70 mph without undue stress. Yours has more power! Enjoy.

Good tires also. Mine are Toyo Open County AT2 Xtreme, LT285/75R18E. Tremendous load capacity (4040lb ea.) and wear like iron. I actually that same tire on my 150 as well.

That's exactly what came on my 2016 F-250 with 20" rims and the FX4 package.
