6.0 buy or not?
Just got back looking at a 06 f250 6.0l. Has 103k miles and is a extremely clean truck. The truck is bulletproofed. Brought a mechanic with me (my cousin) and he said everything checked out right. I know the bad reputation of the 6.0 but hear once the truck is bulletproofed they are great trucks? Correct or no. 6inch lift and sits on 38's. Should I go for it or not.

My old 04 6.0 still is my favorite truck I've had. I don't think I'd buy one again but if it was studded and egr deleted I'd think about it. I sold mine with. 90,000 miles and felt like I got rid of it before lifting the heads or something else.

I had an 06-6.0 and it was a great truck. I allowed myself to be intimidated by the stories and traded it off in '11 when it had about 90K miles. I love the 2011 but it was expensive. I ended up needing a second truck in 2013 and bought a really nice used f150 for about what I got for the 6.0 on trade. I wish I had kept the 6.0 !!
