Traded in my F-150 Platinum for this 2013 SD. I loved my Platinum but I'm looking to get a 5th Wheel and therefore need the extra umph..

You don't need a new intake on the super duties. The stock one will hold 1000cc of contaminates, most aftermarket ones are less than 200. It only restricts power once you break the 500hp mark.

Got my friend to get a 6.0, I kinda like his better because I like black, just hate keeping it clean.

I just installed HD lights on his truck last night and we're putting on my 4" mbrp straight pipe.

Yeah, but you still need headstuds and an extreme custom tune to make it there, at least on a 6.0, and that still might not make it to 500. So save $$$ for studs before buying an intake.
