I'm test driving a diesel tomorrow. 09 6.4. Gonna see how I like its power and handling. Got my eye on a truck in pa but want to drive one locally first to check it out

My friend just put an 05 front end conversion on his 01 Lariat 7.3 4x4. He also added bushwacker PTM fender flares and the newer emblems. He is going to work on the interior next along with tires and wheels.

The 6.4 is an absolute monster. With a CAI, DPF delete and a good set of tunes they can easily top 500 Hp at the wheels. Let alone you actually start investing some real money into it with upgraded sticks and turbos

Taking just the muffler off his stock truck isn't really doing anything special. Especially with all the the emissions equipment still on. Read up on what can be obtained out of that truck. And yes in the stock form especially the early 6.4's were on the sluggish side.
