Default Getting an F250 eventually

I really like the 05-07 looks on the outside compared to the 02-04s. But I've heard the 7.3L diesel is a better engine than the 6.0L. Probably will get an XLT or Lariat crew cab 4x4 depending on the model year, mileage, etc. What do ya'll think?

i have a 01 250 lariat 4wd and i love it!! yes i have had some trouble out of it as every truck has issues every now and then. haha i would hands down go with the 7.3 the 6.0 has had sooooo many problems. the 7.3 mpg is a little worse then the 6.0 but you will come out on top with the 7.3. my 01 is about to turn over 240,000 and i wouldnt trade it for nothing. i highly recommend the 7.3...

All I can say is don't get a 6 liter. Poor implementation of emissions controls plague that engine.

I love the 7.3 but didn't want to pay $15,000 for a 10 year old truck with 250k miles... it's retarded and that's what people ask for em.

^^^ your lookin in the wrong spot... around here you can find a good one with that many miles or less for anywhere from 3 to 10,000...if they are asing as much as 10 is got something done to it or someone has lost their mind...

I spent almost a year looking for one. ALL of them had way too many miles for the price being asked (that's kinda why I don't got one..). Common around here.
