Fuel pump/ fuel issues

My boss has a 1997 F-250 5.8 and it will not start on the front fuel tank but if you switch to the back tank it will start. He said he changed it back to the front tank while driving and it acted normal didn't stall or anything.

Fuel pump dead in the front tank? Or bad electrical connection to it

I had the same issue with my '91 F150. I ended up replacing the front fuel pump assembly.
