Default Engine block heater

On my 15 do I just plug this in and it works or is there a process to it?

Plug it in and it'll keep the coolant near 100* all on its own.

You may want to look into a heavy duty timer (appliance timer) to only run it for a few hours. Test different amounts of time. You may find that 2 or 3 hours is enough. Pretty high electricity usage - unless you're not paying the bill.

With my '82 CJ-7, I found that 2-3 hours was more than enough time.

Cool thanks guys I will play with a timer this weekend to see what happens doesn't get that cold around here probably to need it but wouldn't mind playing with it a bit just incase
