Thank you mine was a good truck but did not own it too long. and op that's pretty bad and a sign that filters were not changed often like they need to be, but unless you're finding shiny metal shavings in that oil filter it's not THAT bad... But they have have at least been motorcraft filters. Take a look and confirm you have the correct oil filter cap. The aftermarket oil filters (Napa and others) were a long filter and came with their own "tall cap". Installing the FL2016 filter with the incorrect "tall cap" from an aftermarket filter leads to bad things. Please check and make sure! Also when changing that under hood fuel filter it would be a good time to do blue spring mod, it's really a safety mod more than performance, makes sure your fuel pressure stays in acceptable range at both low and high rpm.

1BD9D7 thx for the input. Saw no shavings and was correct cap and MC filters. Haven't heard of blue spring mod will check that out. Also, a buddy mentioned a "oil pressure sender switch" that he says should be changed every few oil changes. Is this accurate info? Thx appreciate it.
