Oh i see, i just got through reading about the new motor. I bet it would give a F250 lots of more power than the 5.4L. 411hp and 434ft-lbs of torque! Looks like it will be the 6.8L V10 replacement and it is said to be 15% more fuel efficient than the V10. It is also going to be rated to run on regular unleaded. Apparently GM's 6.2L V8 that has 403hp is recommended to run on premium gas.

When it comes to travel trailers, it really depends on if it is a fifth wheel and how much it weights. A 1/2 ton has a payload of around 1500 lbs but a 3/4 ton has a payload around 2800 lbs. Depending on how heavy a fifth wheel is on that bed will depend on what size of truck you need. All fifth wheel travel trailers will have a bed weight rating. Now if you are talking about a bumper pull travel trailer, thats a different story. Any 1/2 ton should be able to pull a bumper pull travel trailer as long as its under the max towing capacity of the truck. If you are looking at a big fifth wheel travel trailer then i would go with a f250 with a diesel because most of the bigger fifth wheels will have a bed weight of around the max rating of a 1/2 ton.
