Hey guys, Im working on a 2002 E450 7.3L Ambulance. We just had the entire sc system replaced last year. We also had a brand new 7.3 Long Block installed a few months back. Since we got it back from the dealer, the AC has not been turned on since here recently. The compressor is cycling over and over and when I hooked up the guages, I was reading 45 on low side and around 250 plus on the high side. Now keep in mind that this morning it was 40 degrees outside. When I started to evacuate the system, I noticed there was a TON of air in the system and hardly any freon in there. Im going to vaccume the system next and see if it holds. If it does hold, then I recharge the system, What should my pressures be if everything is charged correctly? I know I am jumping the gun being this early with the temps, but I just want my fleet running smoothly when warm weather hits.

 

Should read about the same low side high I'd estimate to be around 80 or so if the temp is close to the same
