My dads 97 7.3 is straight piped from the turbo back, sounds awesome.

my brother just did his 01 with a 4 inch turbo back with a 5 inch tip, it sounds awesome.

They sound best right around 2200 rpm without a tip.

my friend straight piped his 6.0 and put a 5" tip on it and that thing will burst your eardrums

Im still trying to talk him into it, almost there.
I drove my masonry teacher's f350 today and i dont know what exhaust it had but it wasnt stock and sounded amazing, and could roal a little coal

I think Ive talked him into it now, now i just need to find a place that sells some 3.5" piping and a couple sleeves, and maybe a 6" tip

i have since gotten a 4 inch in, 5 inch out 20 inch long turndown tip

Got a tune on there? My friends 96 is straighted out a my father's stock Common Rail 5.9 still blows more smoke than his 7.3.

I just got back from my cousins today, I bought a piece of 3.5" pipe about 2' long and we got it welded on there today. Sounds great, from inside the cab with the windows up it really aint that much louder when cruisin, but when you really get on it you can tell, and with the windows down you can tell. its also a pretty good bit louder when standing next to the exhaust
