Adding rear turn signals to rear view mirrors
I recently went up to the bigger f250 from my older f150, basically to tow better. The 250 is great but it doesn't have very good turn signals in the mirrors like the f150 does for drivers on the side, mostly when towing a camper. Has anyone added rear facing led's to a powerscope mirror set? If so could you post pics by chance? I think it would work in that little dead space of plastic next to the lower convex mirror. For 12 volts i was planning on tying in to the factory blinker on the front of the mirror. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks.

That's a REALLY specific scenario for a truck that's not the primary platform of the forum. Not surprised no one has an answer.

So this isn't the super duty section? No one drives a recent f250 with the power folding huge mirrors? My pic is my old truck, an f150, but i assure you i am asking about an f250 super duty. Thanks.

In about to pull the trigger on a 2016 6.2 F250.. I know have the F150 and it struggles a little to pull my 7k lb trailer.
How do you like your new truck? I see you went up to the f250 for towing purposes.

It pulls my 30 ft camper so much better, but it likes the gas doing it. Just went 1900 miles with camper and got 8.6 mpg average. Unloaded and commuting I normally get 13.5 to 14 mpg. My 5.0 f150 got 11 pulling and 15 empty. Super duty handles trailer much better on highway and a lot less shimmy from the trailer.

Awesome. I went today to look at the super duty and man I got to tell you they are nice trucks but the one that they had in stock was a long bed and I just cannot wrap my head around getting a truck that has that much length to it
Seems like the search is back on to find a truck that I want with a short wheelbase
