Hello all I just picked up a 2002 F 250 Super Duty with the 5.4L I have a check engine light on and the auto parts store said it was ignition coil D. I changed the ignition coil and it ran fine for a couple days it came back. I bought a code reader and when I plug it in it goes through a series of checks and stops when it gets to SAE J1850 PWM Protocol. What does this mean it looks like it's downloading but it never gets past the j1850? The scanner is a V gate and works fine on my F 150 and my wife's Toyota Highlander, just wondering if anyone else has seen this.
