6.0 tuner
So I bought a 06 F250 with a 6.0 and I'm sure it is chipped but I never got the programer with the truck (bought it from dealer) does anyone know if I buy a new programer will it erase the old tune? Or do I have to get it re programmed at ford back to stock?

Way that SCT tuners work is what tune is loaded on it now, it will save the the default tune. So if you want to have your factory tune, you will want to get it flashed back to OEM tune by ford before uploading another tune.
That way, when you go to tune it next, it will save the OEM Ford tune automatically before uploading your new tune so you can always flash it back to 100% stock tune if you need.

And don't run anything more than a mild tune or else your head gaskets will definitely blow, even then you can still blow gaskets on the stock tune. Unless you have head studs. That's the only way you will be safe
