i like the 5.9 cummins but the new 6.7 cummins is melting pistons. I and 93 idi and 3 7.3 powerstokes. I sold my 02 for a deal I could not refuse and bought the new ford and the engine has great power but hate the regens and the poor mpg. My 02 7.3 would get 20 hi way

I had an 03 6.0 and I put 210k on it before I traded it. the only thing I had done to it was an hpop, egr valve, and oil cooler at 190k. Not to bad for that kind of miles and I was hard as hell on the truck. constantly pulling 12k trailers.

There are some good ones out there. My dealer just traded for one with 200k on it but he will only sell it to a wholesaler and not to anyone else because of the distrust for them and that is high miles for one. My 7.3 had 160k and that was considered low miles for one, kind of sad.

Ehhh, I would be careful about it. Test out the 6.0 before you buy iy. My dad runs a livestock market and has numerous duallies and 18 wheelers. A couple of years ago, Im not sure what year model it was, but it was a 6.0. My dad bought a new F350 Dually. Ford Motor company spent over $18,000 in the truck before it was 2 months old. Lemon you may ask, I dont know. But now that it is fixed, its had its minor repairs, but its still a Hause, lol. It has over 260,000 miles on it, lives in dust, dirt, and cow manure, and still pulls a 28 ft gooseneck ever other day. Trucks been beat to death, LITERALLY!!! and its still goin on strong. All Im saying is test drive it throughly, have it inspected before you buy it, and dont pick the LEMON!!!!!
