Default 6.0 EGR/Cooler issue

OK guys, this is what I got.A buddy of mine has a 2005 6.0 with 160k on it. The head gaskets where replaced at 100k by ford. The issue it has now is that he did a EGR delete on it and now its dumping coolant into number 4 cyl. Thats the story I got anyways. I have heard of the coolers leaking and this happening and that it can be related to head gasket problems. What is the best coarse of action to fix this issue? Any help or input would be greatly apprecated! Thanks.

First, find out if there was an get delete or block off. If its blocked off, the cooler is still in place and if it is cracked, it could still be dumping coolant into the cylinders. On my 2004 6.0, I did an get block off but also had to replace the cooler. Even though the cooler no longer passes exhaust gas through it, the coolant lines are still in place, hence the need for a viable egr cooler. Just what I ran into on my truck, hope this helps.

Sounds like another HG issue to me. If the EGR is deleted, and there is coolant in the cylinder, there is a leak somewhere.
