Default 5.4 Axle Ratio

Hi Guys, I was wondering what the most common axle was for superduty gassers. Mines a 2004 F250 5.4 FX4 with 4.10's.

It's either a 10.25 or a 10.5. You can check the axle tag to see for sure

Is there an exact reason for your use of the truck. 4.10 for it would do most except probably pull a 5th wheel grain trailer up out of a muddy corn field and it would give it a good go. 4.35 gears would really pull hard. Most go to the bigger F350 an duals though. Believe their 70 and 80 Dana's respectively.

I hardly use the truck. Just where I can't go on the 4 wheeler. To the cottage, hunting, and towing. In 3 years I put 10,000km on the 4 wheeler, and 5000 on the truck.
