Default 2015 shift flare

I have a problem surface yesterday in the 5-6 shift when in t\h where the rpm momentarily jumps around 400 rpm before dropping into 6. This happens under light throttle and I can duplicate by manually downshifting and it will do it again when going back to 6. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue and what was fords fix. I saw back in 2011 Ford was having issues with shift solinods but not much lately. I hope it"s a easy fix, and glad the problem is surfacing early 1600 mi. In the warranty cycle. I guess I need to make a video now and head to dealer.

Hmm I have not noticed anything like that with my 2014. Just put 700 miles on her with freeway driving over the last 3 days just going to work. I would assume a problem like that would have been solved by now if its a 2011 issue. I would definitely take it to the dealer.

The tranny tech looked at my video. He agreed I have a shift flare and ordered solenoids. Hopefully that will cure it and it won't have to be tore down.

Good to hear. Lets hope that's the problem. Never fun to have your truck in the shop for repairs
