Best way to increase mpg is a tuner.
Holy bad info.

How is that bad info? I am basically saying that the new gen engine differences don't help mpg. So if that's what he cares about and finds a better deal on a left over 2014 its worth it over buying a 2015.

I have to disagree my buddy has a 14 and even he says the trucks are really different as far as driving. I can feel a huge gain from the 14 to the 15 and he can't believe the difference in mpg either. I'm not an expert on diesels by any means but seems there the 15 is a but more efficient if you will.

.
This is exactly where I am.

I just bought a 2015 F350 DRW with 4.30 gears on 12/31/14, The first 600 milesa looks like 14.1 mpg in town. Tomorrow I will be pulling my 16,000# toyhauler about 200 mile round trip. I just filled up and reset the mpg. Let you know Sunday how it does when I get back.

720 miles. The owners manual says to put 500 miles before towing and not to drive a continuously at the same speed for the first 1000 miles. So I won't be using the cruise control during towing for a while. We are leaving shortly for a camping trip. This will be the first pull of the toyhauler for this new truck.
Nice truck. looks like mine minus the dually.
