Default 2014-2015 lariat

Looking at some holdover 14 350s lariat with the 6.7. Also looking at the 15s with the same options. Besides the HP and tq upgrades anything else change for the model year? They are taking almost 4k more take off from msrp with the 14s.

The hp and tq increase are due to a new, more common, more reliable, more capable turbo, and 9% more fuel from the high pressure pump.

The 2015 has a weaker transmission due to the removal of a clutch.

Tried out this beauty tonight a new 15, what a beast! Way over what I'd order but nice none the less. My budget isn't there yet though as they low balled my f150 on trade so I'll need to try and sell it outright and get a entry level larait. I will go this weekend to look at a few used 12-14s with 9-45k miles on them, price wise that would be a lot easier to talk my wife into. Since it seems the second gen 6.7 is the best bet though I may just wait and save some more for that

I'm in no hurry and will wait to get the boot numbers where I want them. What gear ratio is better? The high 3.31 or 3.55 I'm guessing the highway mpg will be better with the 3.31? I have the 3.73 in my ecoboost and love the way they preform but the diesel is a whole different beast

Depends on future plans. I went 3.31 because it had same towing numbers and could return better mpg. I'm sure it's minimal at best.

Thanks jcain mainly it'll be a cruiser with some 6+10k pound tows so nothing extravagant for a superduty. Just want it for the longevity of it as 10k is close to my max tow on my f150 and I'd rather handle it with ease then work the heck out of it

Love it! About what did it run you to delete it? I can't get a lariat I'm in more of the xlt range for where I want my payments. So I'm going to start focusing on paying down my trade. No need to settle with that kind of cash getting forked over, so realistically I'm still a year or so out from getting one

Ran me about 1400 through No Limit Fab, but I had an SCT already so I saved that $400.

Even the XLTs look good on inside.

Even at 1800 its not bad. I want a lariat for the heated and cooled leather with a center counsel. I have a 14 f150 xlt cloth, bench front seat and I could really use the extra storage from a center console. Hard to find an xlt superduty with buckets.
