I was reading in my new Diesel Power and they have like a 6 page spread on the new 6.7L Scorpion diesel engine. Supposed to be the best V8 diesel Ford has ever had in a pickup. They are quoting between 390-420 HP and 700-750 lb-ft of Torque. Very impressive numbers!!

rofl, in certain pictures it looks terrible, but in other pictures with different colors etc.

imo it doesnt look as bad with white on it instead of chrome

I dont know (mechanically) why the towing numbers are different from automatic trans to manual trans but i would bet money that this is why you cant find a 2010 manual trans with the diesel. I know your towing capacity increases substancially with a automatic transmission with a gas powered motor vs a manual and i bet the difference only increases more from a manual tran diesel to an automatic trans diesel.

I bet the towing difference in the diesel between the manual and the automatic would be even greater.

I enjoy having control over my gears, that's why I drive manual.
And the reason why I think the automatic has progressed into a better trans than a manual is because countless hours have been invested into autos in the last few years however the manual has kind of been neglected.
