Default 2006 F250 not taking gas

I just purchased a 2006 F250 supercab with V10 motor and when I try to fill the gas tank the automatic noozle keeps shutting off, does anybody have a solution for this?

Try a different nozzle...and if that don't work my F-150 will take it.

It's vapor locking, meaning something it blocking the breather line for the gas tank, like dirt. I helped my uncle with this problem on his 2006 F-250 CrewCab V10, we took an empty Coca Cola bottle, drilled a small hole in the bottom, took the cap off, made sure it was clear of all pieces of plastic, and then took the top of the bottle, shoved it into the gas filler neck, and then took compressed air to the hole we drilled in the bottom. Thus putting enough extra compression in the system to blow the blockage free.

Basically, we filled the tank with air instead of fuel, so that we could clear the breather line. A soda bottle works great because it is the right size to be able to seat itself enough to form a seal on the filler end so that enough pressure can be sent through the breather line to clear it.

Hope that helps ya.
